High Farm Country Park is being developed with imagination and care. Anglers will be in heaven and the fishing is free for all residents. But the park has so much more to offer. It’s a nature lover’s paradise in the broadest sense, with lovely walks, fantastic surroundings and our newly opened flat bowling green!
Its location too is excellent. Beverley, with its medieval Minster, varied shopping in quaint streets and beautiful racecourse is just a few miles away. The seaside town of Hornsea, with the Freeport shopping outlet, is just six miles down the road in the opposite direction. Hull, York, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough are all within an hour’s drive.
Future plans for the park itself include a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course, which is due to open Easter 2008. Planning is also underway on the construction of an all weather sports pitch for tennis, five aside football etc. A well designed children’s play area and adventure park completes the picture. High Farm Country Park will really offer something for everyone.
The park is protected by a CCTV system, and there’s a resident Estate Manager. Dogs are welcome provided that they are exercised on a lead, or in the park's dedicated dog walk area.
